Ceviche heaven! Chefs Christopher Camacho and Carlos Castro bring a combination of Pan Latin, Spanish and Caribbean flavors together with a refined sophisticated flair at OLA. OLA restaurant located in to Miami Beach Florida is a delicious adventure from start to finish. I loved the Pandebono (Colombian cheese bread) which are severed as your table bread. The speciality of the restaurant are the ceviches, and they are a must. I tried the Fire and Ice ceviche which is Cobia marinated in sour orange, red onion, cilantro, jalapeño over saia pear granita–and wow it was fantastic. The combination of spicy hot and ice was very creative and not only wonderful to taste but also a delight for my tongue. Another hit are the empanadas and if you have room you should try both the ceviche and empanadas. The mains consist of a selection of fish and meats that share the same inspired combinations of flavors as the starters.
OLA is located inside the Sanctuary hotel and is the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner or a elegant night out. The service is impeccable and as tailored and well dressed as the restaurant itself. The interior is clean and contemporary, yet warm and comfortable. OLA is definitely on my list of the top go to restaurants in Miami Beach.
